Finding Nemo

One of my favourite movies of all time is Finding Nemo. It might sound childish but I like this movie not because it is cute but because of it's meaning behind it. It has a lot of meaning actually. It could be about the most obvious one which is your family, life, friends or maybe love life. Nobody knows that I like fishes. All of them just know that I love Hello Kitty and dogs. Well that's the thing Fishes keep me calm. Whenever I see them I feel so calm and worrisome. It has no idea that I love seeing them because I don't show it because they don't feel and see me for how I really feel.

I might be confused, moody or totally unstable but I know for a fact that it does make me happy. It does keep me sane and it does make me feel that life is too beautiful to be wasted. God has made these creatures not only because we need balance but because it can make people like me realise the worth of small things. I appreciate small things but I don't show it because I am afraid to cry, fall and break apart. This is how I protect myself.

Back in the Philippines I used to go to zoos whenever I feel sad or stressed out but I don't know any place near here to go to.

I know this blog is a shitty blog. It has no meaning or anything. I just miss the fish. I f*cked up. I'm a b*tch. I am confused and sorry.

You know who you are.

Punta Fuego Finest!

Originally Peninsula de Punta Fuego, well-known as Punta Fuego, is an exclusive beach resort for the homeowners in the Beach/Subdivision. This Subdivision if I am not mistaken are mostly just vacation houses for the filthy rich. Yes you are right people who have access here are those who have a lot of extra money to spare. The houses are really big, colossal big! Punta Fuego is one of the firsts to actually offer houses beside the beach. They do not only have one beach but 4 beaches (but I am not really sure).

So how did we end up in Punta Fuego actually? We are not rich and we do not have a house there (But I wish we have one). My father's company actually has a membership in their clubhouse. So the employees have access to go there anytime they wish but they have to tell the representative of the company which is my Father's boss (The company's vice president in sales).

We went there last August 2012 and got a huge discount on the rooms (found in the clubhouse). We rented two rooms which costs originally P8,000 per night and got a 50% discount for it since it is off-peak season. But there's more, when you rent two rooms you will automatically get a third room for free. So yes we only paid P8,000 for three rooms with 6 breakfast meals.

While waiting in the reception room, we were greeted by the friendly personnel and we waited for some time for them to make sure that our rooms are squeaky clean. They gave us tamarind juice which tastes really superb! I thought that it's bitter and all but it was not. It was actually good!

When we entered our room, I was happy to see that our room was really clean. I mean even the sheets are white as the clear sky. haha. A post card which was written by the management was left in our breakfast table welcoming us.

The comfort room is very clean and handy. It has the usual free soap, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion and toothpaste. But we never used it because we stick to our own products. Maybe I'll use it when I go travelling again.

The room basically has two beds good for four people, a breakfast table, flat screen television, two telephones, refrigerator, electric pot for your coffee, a veranda (with two chairs) and a very very beautiful scenery.

Since we our only 7 and we have three rooms, we slept very well. haha. The first room was occupied by Me, our Grandmother, and my sister Jelai. The second room was occupied by our uncle (Kuya Chris) and my brother (Cristian), and the last room was occupied by my parents. One room can have up to four guests.

After swimming in the pool area, we decided to hit the beach. We went to the nearest beach via the service around the place. My father in the other hand was busy playing golf with his boss.

The beach
We went back to the clubhouse since it was beginning to get dark. We went swimming again and ate dinner in the restaurant. Apparently I did not get the chance of taking a picture of our food for we were so tired from all the swimming that we did.

So yeah we slept abruptly after taking a bath! But before we do, we received a complimentary dessert from the management. It was just an ordinary sponge cake. Nothing special about that in my opinion. But if you're a person who likes sponge cakes then you would like it (I guess).

Sponge cake
So morning cake! Our room was a mess. haha. We got up early to swim again in the pool and in the beach. We also checked out the different pools and went to the dock area where yacht are parked.

While in the beach we decided to ride the banana boat. It was my first time to ride it and I was excited. Well we were. I thought it was fun but boy was I wrong. I don't know I did not like the banana boat ride, the part where the boatman will take a sharp turn so that you would be thrown out into the water. Man! It hurts! For the person infront of you will actually hit you and it's salt water so it irritated my nose. Sorry but I am not planning to go into another banana boat ride in any of the beach around the world.

My sister also does not want to ride the banana boat EVER again!

Our last stop is the beach a little bit far from our room. This beach area I think is open to those who did not stay in the Clubhouse. For I saw a lot more people here unlike in the previous beaches where 1 or 2 families are present.

This beach area has longer shore and a lot of huts for day pass guests. The pool is a lot bigger than those in the clubhouse. Basically it was more beautiful than the previous beaches but the only problem is there are more people here but tolerable.

Farewell beautiful beach!
Punta Fuego is now open to the public. There are some good deals found in Metrodeal if you wanted to go and have a fun and serene time. I would suggest that you go there during off peak season for you to truly enjoy the place.

Strawberry experience

So this was our last day in the city of Baguio! I'll definitely miss the cold and drizzling weather, the exquisite strawberry taho and ice cream and ofcourse the breath taking scenery as well. Since this was our last day and it was Sunday we went to church (and that's the reason why we have semi-formal clothes on).

Since we area about to head home our last stop is the Strawberry farm and the local market. It was a good idea for my mother because she did buy a lot of vegetables and fruits that have very very low prices.

First stop is in the Strawberry farm where you could pick your own fresh strawberries. The strawberries I would say are huge but there are also small ones. You can guarantee that what you have picked are fresh! This for me was a unique way of buying fruits (specifically strawberries) so a lot of tourists would go and try it.

I know for a fact that my sister enjoyed picking some. 1kg costs P500 if I am not mistaken. For me it is a bit expensive but when I saw the amount of strawberries. It was definitely worth it plus the experience that we had!

Strawberry fields forever!!
Farmers making sure that they produce good strawberries
See how fresh and beautiful these are!

I know how much my sister enjoyed picking strawberries
This picture apparently has no meaning. I just like it though (Vain!)
I also like this!!! Ruby (my cousin)
Since the both of us are very very vain. We have to do this

The very very famous strawberry ice cream!!! 1 cone is only for P20
Ofcourse we have to take pictures of these amazing food!

Every time my friends or family go to Baguio they know that they have to buy these for me
Our last stop and final stop is the PMA school. It is a school for those who wanted to be soldiers and serve our country. Tourists go there to see how they operate (in a way) and because of the beautiful scenery also. They have kept PMA very clean and worth seeing by the way.

Tanks, helicopters and other vehicles used by the soldiers were displayed in PMA. These are real and not mere replicas.

War Memorial and Melchor Hall

I don't know how they feel but a lot of people had pictures with them!
