Care to go back in time and feel what
it is like to live in the 70’s? Fret not Roost
Juice + Bar gives you the ultimate time travel experience while eating
their famous Chicken Chop. Located in the town area of Johor Bahru, Roost Juice
+ Bar is in a secluded place where people would not really go to unless they
could not park near the heart of the town.
We were supposed to go to my favourite
Roost Café to eat yoghurt but to my dismay it is close due to some accident
which happened a few weeks ago (when I was around JB). Nevertheless Roost
Juice+ Bar is another best-place-to-chill-and-eat for me because of their
unique design and ambiance that the place partakes. The food, in my opinion, is
just your ordinary type of meal that is usually serve around that area (The
Best Chicken Chop in town) but it is the ambiance that entices the people to
come back again and hang-put with their family and loved ones. Old television,
Analogue telephone, lomo photographs, old toys, bottle of beers from different
Asian Countries, and Jukebox are some of the items that are display in the
restaurant. I will have to congratulate the owners for they have kept a lot of
these things and display it in their themed-type restaurant. If given a chance
I would like to talk to the owner of this place and ask them more on why they
come up with this unique type of place.

The entrance will definitely tell you that this is
a very unique place. A lot of people use this place for their pre-nup
photshoots

The place is usually close during the afternoon
(2pm-4pm) but if you could wait they will open up again at 4:00pm
|

For a meal and some drinks you have to shed around
RM20 to RM35. They have big portions so if you really are hungry then this is
where you ought to be

It seemed very creepy but these are the toys back
then. Well the toys nowadays are creepy as well.

They serve big portions. You do not need to buy
rice as the fries and chicken/fish will be sufficient to fill-up your growling
tummy
