Finally after some time I got the chance to eat with this lovely lady again. Gen or Ate Gen (pronounced as Jen for her real name is Genie-bie not like that of Genie in the bottle) is my colleague and she is the Queen in the Regulatory department. I have known her for 1 year now but this is our first time to eat together and I am happy that we did this to talk about stuff and all. She has a very vibrant and jolly personality as well as a huge heart for she is a very very good listener. So boys go and line-up now before it is too late! hahaha
Anyway after a very long walk from our Office, we ended up eating in Cafe Mary Grace located in Serendra, BGC. Mary Grace is well known for their ensaymada and cheese roll which you could buy in boxes or pieces. Ensaymada cost P60/piece while their Cheese Roll is P40/piece. They started as a Kiosk selling these two and because they are making a name, they decided to build an Italian themed restaurant which is not very far from their Bakery business.
A meal in Cafe Mary Grace cost about P250 and above, though soups are cheaper as well. We decided to eat pasta and pizza, a perfect combination as usual. We didn't manage to eat dessert because we are so full but their cakes and pastries are to die for though not the best in town.
As for their ambiance, they captured the Italian feel because of the walls and I find their designs more on that Holiday Christmas or New Year feel for they have a lot of Angels and Christmas lights.

Pasta Vongole for P240 |

I am not really sure if this is Parma Ham and Aruga (P450) or Italian Sausage (P440). Please feel free to correct me |

We just finish our dinner. Thank Ate Gen! |

So who are you texting and why are you smiling? |
|
You can actually write letters about anything and leave it under the glass. Most letters are anonymously written. |
|
They also have magazines which you could read while waiting for your order |
Before I forget thank you Ate Gen for the dinner! Will I come back? I always do come back to Cafe Mary Grace.
