The Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel & Spa, Phnom Penh, Cambodia

There are no beaches in Phnom Penh, like Metro Manila, it is quite far from the beach so the best way to beat the heat is to have a dip in the pool. Too bad our hotel doesn’t have but the good thing is it’s sister hotel have! It actually have a lot of sister hotels and one of these is The Frangipani Royal Palace Hotel & Spa located just behind the Royal Palace. It was quite a stir that our Hotel and this hotel is just a stone away which I quite don’t understand. Maybe it’s because of the lack of Space in Phonm Penh that’s why they have 3 hotels in one area. 

Before we head back to Malaysia, we decided to swim. If you stay in any Frangipani Hotels you have free access to the pool in one of their hotels. You just need to have a referral form from the hotel you are staying and you are good to go. 

As we arrive in the hotel the receptionist checked the form and we were guided to the pool area which is located in the top floor. The view is quite fascinating I must say for you can see the Silver Pagoda and the Royal Palace which we did not have the chance to go into since it's closed because of a ceremony.  If you do not have a towel, fret not because there are towels available in the sun loungers and you can ask for extra if you want. The pool is clean but it was very cold because of the wind but once you get used to it then you are fine. Unlike other hotel pools this one is just a small one but it is quite decent that  you can have a few swims to get to the end.

I had the chance to talk with these beautiful women currently living in New Zealand if not mistaken and they are just here to visit their relatives and travel SE Asia 

This at night is a place to drink! 

Will I come back? 

Yes I will. I want to stay here in the future if I ever have a chance to go back in Cambodia again for we just go here for a swim and the place is quite decent. :-)
