Vikings, SM Megamall, Philippines

Last July 3, my cousin Ruby celebrated her 22nd birthday in Vikings. The reason why she wanted to celebrate her birthday her is because of the free meal that the birthday celebrant will be getting. So yeah a lot people celebrate their birthday here as observed. I think this is a very good strategy for an Eat-all-you-can restaurant for this kind of celebration means a lot more people in one group which means a lot more income for a restaurant. Ofcourse you could also dine here in any occasion. If not mistaken also wedding anniversary for the couples are free. You just need to present any valid IDs with your birthday on it or a wedding certificate perhaps for those married couples.

I am not actually the perfect person for an eat-all-you-can restaurant but when there is Japanese Cuisine I will definitely come and eat all the Sushi, Sashimi, Tempura and Miso Soup that I can! Good enough I saw my favourite cuisine in the restaurant! Together with my Aunt and Cousins we raided the foods which we like the most. They also have the widest range of desserts and beverage I have ever seen. From Filipino desserts to western desserts you name it and they have it. As for their beverage they have all as well: Juices, Beer, Tea, Shakes, Milk tea. They also have an instruction which you can follow if you want to make a Bubble Milk Tea!

The Royal Touch, SM Aura, Philippines

One of the reasons why I went here is because of my colleagues for they said that it is one of the best cupcakes in town. Carolyn Robb one of the co-founders of The Royal Touch is known in the European country because she is the one who made Prince William's groom wedding cake and one of the 27 wedding cakes of Prince Charles and Princess Diana so I guess this must be really good considering the price is also not far from that of our local cupcake stores.

Whenever I go to SM Aura I would always look at this place. I never had a chance to eat here before because I am always rushing whenever I am around so when I got the chance I quickly went and eat there. I did not eat a proper dinner instead I ate cupcakes. 4 cupcakes to be exact and I never regret it (being a sweet tooth). I don't know why there are not a lot of people, maybe it is because of their location or maybe because the price is too expensive? But I know for a fact that their cupcakes are good. In my previous blogs Vanilla Cupcake Bakery is my number choice but now it is The Royal Touch because of one cupcake that stole my heart and that is the Cookie Dough.

Entrace to The Royal Touch. Very British like setting

I don't know why only a few people go here. This place is freaking amazing! Well I think it's a good thing for people who wants a quiet time can definitely stay here

The Cookie Dough does not have its own name card/ plate yet because it's just new. Good thing I tried it! Next time I'll be in Aura, you'll be mine!

Cute, Beautiful and Delicious Cupcakes!

They also offer cakes for any occasions ranging from P898 to P1000 ++

Duke of Caramel Mini Cheesecake and Cookie dough for P95 each

(Left to Right) Cookie Dough P95, Inside the Cookie Dough, Salted Caramel Mini Cheesecake P95, Apple Duchess P90

Should have sat there. Next time I will seat and act like a royalty! Haha

Doing work!
If not mistaken I stayed here for 4 hours. Eating and doing work at the same time. So basically I ate one cupcake per hour so it's justifiable. I will be back for more Cookie Dough next week if my schedule permits though.

When you guys are in SM Aura please don't forget to drop by this place. All their cupcakes are worth trying for! Cheers to the person who franchised or financed this amazing place. Please don't let it close people... The best cupcake place for me! :-)

Sentosa, Singapore

Sentosa is a place where you could find almost all of the attractions in Singapore, from the famous Universal Studios to Siloso beach. If yo have 2 weeks or more and the money of course then you could visit all the attractions in Sentosa. Last June 2013 we went there to go to the SEA Aquarium and USS where both are nearby each other.

You can actually go to Sentosa from Harbour City Front and go to the VivoCity Mall to take the Sentosa Express train but we opt to try the Cable Car from Vivo to Sentosa to what the beautiful island has to offer. A round trip ride cost SGD $29 for adults and SGD $18 for children and free for children aged 3 and below.

Welcome to Sentosa

Mom and Sister about to go in the cable car

It would be a dream to live here

My sister wished that she could spend her time her but too bad it's very expensive to stay in the Resort's World Hotel

The famous Merlion of Singapore!

I will go back to Sentosa and stay there for a few days if my money permits (haha) everything there is expensive because everyone who goes there are tourists! So if you are going in Singapore make a lot of time and money! Haha. But again everything is great there so I think it's worth every penny.

Admission fee (roundtrip)

SGD $24- adults
SGD $18- children
free         - 3 y/o and below

Opening Hours
8:45 am to 10 pm Daily

SEA Aquarium, Singapore

SEA (South East Asia) Aquarium is the world's largest aquarium which is the home of more than 800 species of marine animals. Sharks, Sting Rays, Clown Fishes, Manta Rays are examples of marine animals which I know and could remember. The SEA Aquarium is just beside USS ( Universal Studios Singapore) so there if you have gone to USS already then it is easy for you to go to the SEA Aquarium.

We went there before lunch and there were a lot of people already. People said that the line inside has a very very long queue so my Mom decided to buy the express pass instead of the normal pass and it was the best decision ever! As you enter the Aquarium you will first go through a museum which showcase the culture of different countries, I require you to take your time in reading and understanding each sections because it is really educating.

My sister took this picture. :-)

Arabian Carpets! How beautiful can they get? You could see the intricate details in these carpets. My mom would have bought if only these are for sale
Like any other big aquariums, their main attraction is their tunnel aquarium. The aquariums here are huge! Insanely huge that you could not compare with the previous ones I have been into.
Tunnel Aquarium. I could not get a good picture because there is a lot of people inside.

Buying souvenirs for my sister as she loves pillows a lot

History captured me!

Mommy and Sister
Our trip to the biggest aquarium set a high bar for like what I have said previously it is the biggest aquarium in the world. Will I come back? No, because I have been inside already and it's quite expensive for me. A one time experience is enough. But I recommend you to visit this place! You will certainly learn a lot!

If you have money to spare please do buy the express pass because each aquarium or zone has a line and it is a very long one. It will take you time just for you to go and see all the types of marine animals. You see they only let in a certain number of people in each aquarium.
